This group is dedicated to helping our sick and injured pilots and families.
When a pilot and family need help the most, we are here to assist, whether it’s help with the endless claim forms, deadlines and timing, denied medical procedures by insurance companies, pay issues, equipment acquisition upon return, training or any other countless issues. You are not alone.
Mission
Our mission is to provide information and support to all pilots and their families from a pilot’s date of disability until return to flying status or retirement, whichever comes first, and to also provide education and guidance to all active pilots about long term disability and supplemental plans to better protect the families before becoming disabled
Advocacy for disabled pilots and families.
Wing to Wing is a strong advocate and voice for those currently out of the cockpit. We constantly look for ways to improve pilots’ experience under the current plans and make those known to those who can effect positive change. A couple examples include getting the company to streamline the long term disability claim form to increase the approval rate, and gaining company medical insurance benefits for pilots on an old plan which dropped COBRA insurance after 5 years.
